University of Nevada, Reno Honors Elemental LED with "Nevada Grad Employer of the Year" Award

This is Elemental LED’s second win of the award in 4 years. 

Elemental LED Inc., a leading U.S. manufacturer of linear LED lighting and related products, has won the 2026 Nevada Grad Employer of the Year award from the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno. The award, presented during the College’s annual Honors and Awards Ceremony, is given to local companies that create and offer jobs or internships to students and recent graduates.

“Elemental LED is honored to receive this recognition from the University, marking the second time in four years we have been named Nevada Grad Employer of the Year,” said Sarah Sommers, Vice President of Human Resources & Training at Elemental LED. “Earning this title reflects our continued commitment to supporting students, investing in talent, and strengthening our local workforce.”

As a business invested in the Reno community since 2017, Elemental LED remains committed to creating opportunities for college graduates by providing a workplace culture focused on long-term growth and professional development. University graduates contribute and collaborate across multiple departments, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Production, and Human Resources. 

Elemental LED and the College of Business collaborate throughout the academic year via initiatives that include executive shadowing, career fairs, classroom engagement, and scheduled tours of the company’s South Reno headquarters and manufacturing facility. In March, the company hosted a Wolf Pack Shadow networking event to provide students with additional professional development opportunities.
