Our Wiser Color Controller is a universal RGB LED control unit that can change the color of any RGB LED lighting fixtures in many different modes. It can work with RGB LED Flexible Lights or any full color fixture that uses 4 channels and has a common positive (common anode). With the Wiser Color Controller there are eleven RGB changing modes available and the speed of each mode can be adjusted wirelessly in increments of 1-100 with the remote control included with the unit. There are also 256 levels of brightness at your fingertips. The Wiser Color Controller is the key that unlocks the endless varieties of dynamic lighting in every one of our 12V RGB LED fixtures.
Easier to use than a TV remote control, the Wiser functions seamlessly with our 12V multi-color LED products, and can handle up to 4 amps of current for each channel. Some of the controller's features include: three- and seven-color strobe, three- and seven-color fade, as well as red, green, blue, pink, yellow, cyan, and white static modes. And this LED controller has memory! This means that you can cut the power to the unit and it will never forget the last function. The controller was easy to connect and functions exactly as advertised. The remote was essential for my application and works well. The only downside for me is the large 4 pin connector. Too bulky for my application. I bought more compact connectors at Radio Shack. Overall a very nice unit that met my needs and expectations. I highly recommend this unit, good value. -
These lights are the best and brightest ever

My customer was so surprised how easy it was to use. He loved the subtle changing of colors this product was able to provide. Used this with the flexible strips which were bright as all hell. Sick project I must say. Elemental was fantastic during the entire process

How do I connect this controller to my LED product?
From Guest at 6/3/10 4:48 AMThere are 4 wires on the controller. Simply match each channel or wire (RED to RED, GREEN to GREEN, and BLUE to BLUE), then match the common positive or common anode. Your controller will begin to work once all your wires have made the correct contact. -

I was curious if you have any LED lights that can be powered by batteries or a personal generator, I need it for a costume.
From Guest at 8/11/10 8:52 AMMost of our LED lights operate on 12VDC (some on 24VDC) and as long as your battery output matches what the lights require, they will light up, no problem. We offer a 12V rechargeable Li-ion battery pack that is compatible with any of our 12V lights. -
I want to connect this to my 12v outdoor lighting so that it will automatically turn on. Will this unit turn on when the power comes on or do I need to push the power button every time? Is there a different unit that would accomplish this?

I would like to set this to one setting (for example the 7 color fade) and just control the on/off with a standard wall light switch controlling power to the outlet this is plugged into. Is there a way to set the controller to be always on so that only the wall light switch needs to be turned on to activate the lights?

can you hook up multiple strips to the wiser color controller and if so how does it have to be connected?
From Guest at 1/29/11 4:07 AMYes, you can connect multiple strip light sections to the Wiser Controller. Just use one Multi Color RGB LED Flexible Light EZ Connector for each strip section, which gives you 4 lead wires. Then you just bundle the same color lead wires together when you connect them to the Wiser. So all the red leads are connected together to the red wire terminal on the controller, and so on. You can also use the 16.5' RGB Extension Cable to extend the distance between a strip section and the controller if the strips need to be installed in different areas of a room. -
Can a custom static color be programed?

Where are the bulbs though?

Is the remote IR or Radio? I want to put the receiver in a box in the wall - out of site - will this work?
