Our RGB Waterproof LED Strip offers a unique, attractive solution for your full-color green LED lighting requirements, at a discount price. The Waterproof Color-Changing LED Light is not only impervious to water damage, but curves easily and performs well in temperatures ranging from -68° ~ +176° F. This Strip uses a surface-mount LED with a wide flood angle, and is seamlessly and evenly bright, so it won't cast annoying shadows.
The RGB Waterproof LED Strip is available in three forms: by the spool (a 9.5 foot length), which you can order on this page; by the foot; or a custom length that can be cut to your specifications in increments of 4 inches (every 3 LEDs), with or without soldered connectors.

Can the transformer be located 60 feet from light?
From Guest at 6/4/10 7:07 AMWe normally recommend the power source be within 50 feet of the fixture. But using a thick power cable and not having fixtures that are closer on the same run with fixtures that are farther away should ensure that you can have the lights at 60 feet. -
What is the typical method of fastening? I am looking to install this product in a recess of a composite metal panel system.

Thank you for contacting us about your interest in the "Waterproof RGB LED Strip Light 9.5 foot spool".
We offer small plastic brackets that can be screwed or nailed into a surface. Unfortunately, this may not be the best option for your metal paneling. My personal suggestion is to use caulking or silicone adhesive.
These will work outdoors and withstand most weather conditions and can be removed easily enough with a minimal amount of damage to your working surface.
