Because it can be cut, full color Flexible LED Strip Lighting fits well into installations and is perfect for use in display cases. These strips are ideal for kitchen cabinet lighting, under cabinet lighting, and any home lighting, as well as for lighting coves, valances, doorways and other hard-to-light nooks and crannies. Flexible LED Strip Lights have a 120 degree, wide-angle beam that ensures they light evenly and do not cast shadows on surfaces.

The Flexible LED Strip is available by the foot, or in a custom length that can be cut to your specifications in increments of 2 inches (every 3 LEDs), with or without soldered connectors.

This low-voltage Strip is easy to install and produces little heat, which means you don't have to worry about shock or fire danger. It has a lifespan of over 50,000 hours and, though it lives on a carbon diet, its low wattage translates to lower emissions and a $3 per-watt operating cost if left on for an entire year. Use this strip three or four hours per day, and it will last over 40 years! This Like all Elemental products, this strip bears a RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certificate that strictly ensures that no toxic materials were used in its manufacture.

If the Neutral White in the Flexible LED solid colors EL-BVRIB12V produces 78 lumens per foot, what is the wattage of each single LED?

The wattage per bulb is the same no matter what color the bulb is, or what its lumens are. Each color in the spectrum has a different brightness for a given amount of power behind it. This strip draws 1.4 watts per foot, and there are 18 bulbs per foot, so each bulb draws only 0.08 watts!

I make glass plaques around 10'' long and 1/4'' thick. I am looking for LED strips and the accessories to make them work.

The LED strips will work for you. They are cuttable every two inches. You can then use a 24-watt plug-in driver or battery pack.

Can these LED's be dimmed? If so, what type of controller would be needed?

All of our LED Strip Lights are dimmable. You can either use our 12V Inline Dimmer Switch in conjunction with a 12V DC driver or adapter; or you can use our Dimmable LED Driver with your existing 120V AC dimmer switch. The 12V Inline Dimmer is not compatible with the Dimmable Driver.

I want to install your Flexible LED Light under my cabinets. My cabinets are in both sides of the room controlled by one dimmer switch. Would your product work if I used one dimmer driver? If so, where would I place it? I will be installing no more than 12 feet of light.

The dimmable driver will dim up to 35 feet of our Flexible LED Lights. You can hide the dimmable driver in a cabinet, the attic, or wherever you deem to be the most convenient. Once you've determined the mounting location of the dimmable driver, you can then jump your 12V output with 18/2 lamp wire to the illuminated locations.
