Our Flexible RGB LED Strip Light is designed to establish ambiance with incredibly efficient, full-color LED lighting. These color changing LED lights are ideal for accent lighting, under cabinet lighting, and home interior lighting, as well as for adding light to confined spaces such as coves, valences, doorways and other hard-to-light nooks and crannies. They even work for edge-lit glass decoration. Our Flexible RGB LED Light Strips have a 120° wide-angle beam that ensures they light evenly and do not cast shadows on surfaces.
The Flexible RGB LED Strip is available by the foot in a custom length that can be cut to your specifications in increments of 4 inches (every 3 LEDs), with or without soldered connectors. What is RGB?
RGB is an acronym for Red-Green-Blue. Our controllers carefully mix varying intensities of Red, Green, and Blue light to create just about any color imaginable. -
What does "4-channel" refer to?"
There are three color channels: red, green, and blue, plus one common positive channel. -
Can the Flexible RGB LED Light make a 90-degree bend to go around a frame?
The strip itself cannot, but we do have connectors that would be able to make that turn. Check our product accessories page to see some of the 90-degree connectors. -
I plan on using these strips under a stair nose. What do you recommend for connecting strips from one step to the next? Can one just connect strips by using four different colored wires soldered to the ends of each next strip?
That is exactly how I'd recommend you make the connections: use 4-conductor wire and solder to the end of one strip and the beginning of the next. -
I plan to run these under my kitchen cabinets. I would like them to be both accent and functional lighting. Can these make white light without creating a rainbow effect?

Do these strips need any heatsinking or are they standalone?
Our strips are standalone and don't require additional heatsinking. The individual LEDs in the strip have heatsinks, and most of our strips are already low heat, low voltage 12V DC with an average surface temperature range of 68° - 104° F.
