The Reignbow™ LED Color Selector is a wall-mount LED Dimmer Switch that enables you to select the color of and dim any of our color-changing RGB LED strip light and light bars. With this LED color controller you can choose a single color from your RGB LED lights, so it's the perfect accessory to get one color at a time instead of rotating color-changing lights. It's also an LED dimmer that lets you dim the lights anywhere between 100% and 0%. This low voltage wall switch is ideal for those who want colorful--but not color-changing--smoothly dimmable and color-controllable LED lighting.
This Reignbow™ Color Selector and LED Dimmer Switch features two sliders: one changes the RGB LEDs color and one dims the light fixture. You can choose any level of brightness in the 0% to 100% PWM dimming range. Our Reignbow™ Color Selector allows you to smoothly and easily transition between all the colors of the spectrum.
The RGB LED strip or fixture and this LED dimmer must run on a 12V DC transformer, and can be powered by either a 12V hard-wired driver or a plug-in 12V adapter. This switch is not compatible with our 12V Dimmable Drivers.
This LED color controller fits into a standard light switch wall outlet and has two lead wires to connect to 12V DC power. It features a light bar-style RGB connector that is compatible only with RGB lights.

Yes, the Reignbow Color Selector would work with your system as a substitute to the High Power RF Color controller you have in the order. The only other piece that you may require is either an RGB Strip Light to Bar Connector, or an RGB LED Light Bar Splice Cable to adapt the end piece of the Reignbow Color Selector to your Strip Light. -
Is this controller able to tune the lights to soft and natural white? In the video it looks like it can only do pure white.

Our White Balance LED Strip Light, on the other hand, uses three colors of white LED chip to make the whole range of white from warm to cool. You can find it in Shop By Item > LED Strip Lights > White Balance LED Lighting. -
I purchased this item to use with my RGB LED strips ... however I can not get it to function. I am using an LED Driver Switching Power Supply Transformer from 110 Volt 50-60 hz to 12 Volt DC.

Although the Reignbow Dimmer Switch technically should be able to control any similar 4-wire RGB Strip Light on the market, we cannot guarantee that it will be compatible with another company's RGB LED Strip Light.
This can also be said for other company's Drivers. Whereas in theory the Driver that you have listed technically should work with the Reignbow Switch, we cannot guarantee its compatibility.
There can be some components within other products that will change the signal, wiring, or voltage slightly causing an incompatibility with certain items.

Can the Reignbow color selector be used to control the color and brightness of 5mm RGB bulbs, or is there a reason it will only work with RGB strips and bars?
From Guest at 1/3/13 6:27 PMIn theory, this Color Selector should be able to control 5mm RGB bulbs. 5mm RGB bulbs have 4 wires running to them which usually denotes that it runs on a 4 channels system (Like the Reignbow Color Selector)
The main issue that you may run into is resistors. Our LED Strip Light has resistor built into them, whereas many bulb LED's do not. Without a resistor, the bulb runs a risk of receiving too much voltage, and burning out.
