We are currently looking to partner with organizations who are spreading the word of sustainability and energy conservation in the Bay Area. If you are an organization who is actively educating the public on sustainability and energy conservation, then we want to talk to you. Please contact Mike.Gutman@ElementalLED.com to discuss opportunities.
Our current partners are:

When the folks over at Rising Sun Energy Center told us the City of Richmond was upgrading their library with energy efficient lighting, we reached out to see if we could help. Adam Lenz, sustainability coordinator for the City of Richmond, has been instrumental for the development of our partnership and as a result, the REACH program is donating over $18,000 worth of LED lighting to the City of Richmond’s Public Library. REACH is also conducting a lighting science and application workshop for the students participating in RichmondBuild, a training program that gives out-of-work construction workers the tools to enter the green workforce. By educating the community and donating energy efficient products, this partnership will yield immediate decreases in fossil fuel consumption, a beautifully lit public library for people to learn, community awareness of energy conservation and students who are dedicated to pushing the green movement forward. Pretty exciting stuff! Read more.

REACH has worked with the cofounder of popuphood, Sarah Filley, on her Wonderarium project. So when she reached out to REACH to see if we wanted to help her on her new small business incubator program we were happy to help out. popuphood is helping retailers in Old Oakland to get their foot in the door of retail spaces by providing six months of rent for free. They are leveraging their entrepreneurial skills by providing these small businesses with tools to thrive and help stimulate the economy. In an effort to help these businesses attract more customers while reducing energy costs, REACH is subsidizing the cost of LED products to help them light up the windows around their storefronts. REACH partnered with popuphood to pilot a new lighting/energy conservation workshop for the small businesses involved in popuphood. Together, popuphood and REACH are looking to help grow retail businesses, increase energy conservation awareness and provide Oakland with dynamic neighborhoods where consumers feel invited to stroll around lit up neighborhoods while they eat, drink, walk and shop.

The Downtown Oakland Association partnered with the REACH program to revitalize empty storefronts in Downtown Oakland. Their vision involves taking artwork from local artists, hanging it in the windows of these empty store fronts, then illuminating the storefront with LED’s to make the art pop and add light to the community. Through the REACH program, Elemental LED heavily subsidized the cost of their LED lights, went onsite to help them understand exactly what product they needed and helped them install the lighting. We continue working together to explore more ways we can help illuminate the downtown area to give Oakland a warm glow; creating a safer environment that invites businesses, consumers and the community to thrive together. The REACH program and Energy Conservation Options, an Oakland based green contractor, have partnered to educate and grow the green workforce. Together we are developing a lighting science and application workshop for the RichmondBuild program. RichmondBuild helps educate unemployed construction workers to become green contractors, thus fueling the green economy and pushing the movement forward. Together, we will be hosting a workshop for these students, educating them on lighting, energy efficiency, lighting retrofits and installation. Energy Conservation Options is also helping Elemental LED construct its very first instant rebate program in California, allowing California contractors to take advantage of our energy efficient products and helping California reduce the amount of energy it consumes.
