The Nicolaudie Stick 1 DMX LED Touchpad Controller offers sophisticated DMX LED color control and almost unlimited memory capability. The easy-to-use touch-sensitive keypad of this LED color controller lets you select color-changing mode, speed, and dimming, and up to 200 lighting scenes can be stored on the controller and accessed with a few touches of the buttons. The Nicolaudie Stick 1 includes PC-compatible computer software that you use to create custom lighting scenes that are loaded onto the wall mount controller. The Nicolaudie Stick 1 is built to last and is only half an inch deep, with a visual interface that makes creating and displaying custom LED light shows a snap.

Using the plug-and-play USB connection on this DMX 512 LED color controller is the most simple way to program the STICK 1: connect the device, start the programming software, create the show and finally press the "write memory" button to save the show into the stand-alone memory. Once the scenes are saved, disconnect the controller, mount it on the wall, and the let the LED color-changing lights begin. The Easy Stand Alone software uses a timeline format similar to video and audio programs, so scenes and effects can be dragged and dropped.

I have 4 differents spaces i my home with leds strip lighting.

Can I use this led touch pad to control each one with their own color, intensity, etc?

do i need a special conector to connect the touch pad out puts with the leds strip circuits?Yes this is possible, but will take some knowledge of DMX Decoders(http://www.elementalled.com/dmx-decoder-with-xlr-ports.html), and addressing colors via dip switching. You will need to address each DMX Decoder so that the Nicolaudie controller can distinguish between each one. The address of each unit is the first DMX channel it is controlled by. Addressing is either set from an LED display or in binary using dip switches. The Keypad can control up to 128 DMX channels in total, this allows separate control of up to 42 RGB fixtures. Is there a way to remotely control this panel. In my installation I cannot feed the LED wires so that the panel is downstairs where the controller needs to be?
From profpatel at 1/14/13 6:12 AMThe Stick 1 does not have any additional controllers, and must be controlled from the main panel. Being that you wish to use these with LED Strip Lights, and this is a DMX controller you would need the addition of a DMX Decoder.(http://www.elementalled.com/dmx-decoder-with-xlr-ports.html) With the decoders help you could then add DMX Addresses to your lights, so that the Nicolaudie can send its signals to the Strip Light. You could install the decoder up near the lights and then run 3 channel DMX Cabling back to the Nicolaudie which you would have downstairs.
