This LED tape comes with a 3M adhesive backing which allows easy mounting virtually anywhere. This flat LED strip emits light in all directions with a 140 degree light beam angle.

Any cut-able section can be used? Every three led section can be attached to its own connecter
and power supply? And any number or length of these sections can be connected with the
Strip-to-strip Bending Extensions and then connected to one power supply?Yes to the first two questions. As far as how long the total section(s) of strip you can have in one run (continuous section on a power source), the limit for all our strips is 16.4 feet / 5 meters. So if you needed 32 feet of strip on one power source, each 16 feet would need its own connection to power. Thanks for the question! -
Does the low output light strip have a protective coating on them that would require to be removed or would heating of the soldering iron with solder make that connection work?
I would want to solder directly to the strip vs using a connector.There is not a protective covering on the strip. You can solder directly onto it if you like. -
Are these strips safe to put into a routed channel in wood stairways or railings?
Yes, this strip is low heat and has a surface temperature of just 68° - 104° F. If the strip is going to be lit for long continuous periods, it's better for the lifespan of the LEDs that it have some ventilation and not be totally enclosed. Cool ambient temperatures are best for preserving LEDs.
