Glass Creations Unlimited in Dallas, Texas recently upgraded some existing LED lighting in one of their glass projects with Elemental’s High Density Flexible LED Strip Light. When Mandy Blake at Glass Creations contacted us, she painted a picture of the consequences of choosing low-quality LED lights: “The existing LED lighting has not held up and we would like to utilize your ribbon lighting. I’ve attached a picture of what the lighting is doing now….not bright and very inconsistent.” We’re used to retrofitting halogen, incandescent, and fluorescent light, but some LEDs it seems are now showing signs of age.

Glass Creations used the neutral white version of our High Density Strip lighting to edge light the glass donor wall they created for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, and as cove lighting for the ceiling of the building’s foyer. The glass itself provides the blue color that really makes it stand out. All of the strip light is powered by one of our 12V Dimmable Drivers, which allowed them to choose the perfect brightness level of the high output strips.

We expect our strips to provide many years of low-cost, consistently bright light for years to come. Thanks for the photo, Mandy!
