How much power do I need?

Click here to view a chart in PDF form that shows how many feet of LED strip light or how many LED light fixtures each of our 12V plug-in adapters and hard-wired 12V drivers will power.

The information on this chart expresses how many feet or fixtures can be powered given a certain amount of wattage. For optimum performance, however, Elemental LED recommends that you do not load the power supply to more than 80% of its labeled rating.

LED Christmas lights typically include a plug-in 12V adapter at the end of the string. So the power conversion is already included in the housing of the product.

Yes, just be sure the transformer supplies steady 12V DC current.

Can a common outdoor 12V transformer and wire attach (via the connector) and work with the scissor-cut LEDs?
