Product was fantastic, shipping was great and technical info top notch. Would recommend this firm to anyone looking to create visual impact lighting. Thanks Again Curtis
Hi all,
Thanks to Greg’s help, the product has been installed. It looks great, and already one neighbor is sworn to get a similar set up as soon as his renovations (in progress) are closer to completion.
Installation went surprisingly quickly, I just had problems nailing upside down. There were a couple of pieces extra in the package – why I don’t know - but as about eleven inched of Flex Light was left over, I added a second half-row over the stove. I know there was a glitch in ordering, my first order of 6th May never happened, but once we were in gear, everything went smoothly and fast. UPS tried and succeeded in doing their bit. Late pick-up your end, and the package was loaded in the wrong part of the van, so the driver didn’t know it was express until he reach my address at 14:30…should have been here before 10:30.
OK, so praise where praise is due, as we call it, the “Warm Fuzzies”.
First – wonderful website with full descriptions, learning films, and most of all – ALL the prices! Very comprehensive and informative. I managed to work out all the parts needed on a brand new (to me) product without help.
Second, phone back-up. Excellent. Very helpful.
Third, your ‘treatment’ of your Canadian customers. So many US trades refuse to ship outside the 48 states, let alone Canada. And if they do, they charge horrendous postage fees. I tried to get some HDMI cables…cheap enough at 4 for $15, but $17 postage. Ordered them from Hong Kong instead, for $3.50 postage. Trying to buy on eBay from US trades is very frustrating. You however, realize the value of our business, charge decent postage, offer to help or change any part etc., all very appreciated.
Critique. These are just suggestions. Somewhere the polarity of the Flex Light should be mentioned…that if it doesn’t light up when attached to the power cord, attach the other end of the strip.
Is it possible to publish in the website pictures of the Natural White and Warm White? They would have to be the same setting/kitchen whatever, one lit with Natural, then the same lit with Warm.
I love the Natural, esp with all the blues and white in our kitchen, but it sure makes the microwave and ‘fridge lights yellow! Almost too stark. Hope we get used to it soon.
The Wire T-Tap Connectors didn’t work. I think I was using them correctly, even went back to the website to look at the pictures again, but there’s a different design of T-Tap there now. No matter, used electrical tape and twisting. It’s out of sight, out of mind.
Your website is now going to start traveling. To friends showing an interest in your products, and a local lighting specialist, who quoted $650 for a similar set-up (!!!), etc. There should be a few more Canadian customers coming your way. Attached are four pictures of our tiny kitchen, the first using the camera flash, then three without. Feel free to use them or any part of this testimonial if you like.
Cheers,
Jay
