With the rainy season upon us, we can either walk around with grimaces on our faces, or with bright smiles. The smiles, of course, will come from knowing that you are using all of that rain water that comes off of your home to operate your home. That is right. You can use rain water to help run your home. In fact, you can use all kinds of water to run your home that you would normally marginalize. This water is called “grey water”
On November 19th, The Ecology Center in Berkeley is hosting a grey water workshop to show residents how they can use their waste water to their advantage. Not only does this make your home more sustainable, but it reduces the electricity, filtration and man hour costs in pumping water to your home.
Learn how to water your yard and your garden without incurring any additional water charges from your utility.
