Every 4th Tuesday in San Francisco a group of green-minded business leaders meet to discuss sustainability in San Francisco, their role in promoting the green economy and how they can work together to promote Bay Area green values. This phenomenon is called Eco Tuesdays and is spreading to sustainable cities across the nation. It is a great way for green professionals to share and learn about emerging trends in the green market and mingle with like minded people.

The general flow of these networking events are as follows:

-Arrive at the venue, settle in, and meet new people
-Learn about the cutting edges of sustainable business from an expert
-Quickly introduce yourself and your project to a roomful of people
-Network with people you learned about during the Introduction Circle

If you are interested in attending the event this month on Tuesday the 24th, go to the W Hotel in San Francisco in the Industry Meeting Room at 6:30. Johanna Partin, Director of Climate Protection Initiatives in SF, will be speaking about sustainability on the local government level. The cost is $10 per person.

This is a great opportunity for folks already working as green professionals, recent grads who are looking to get into the green market, or people generally interested in learning more about sustainability in the Bay Area.
