The High Density RGB LED Strip Light offers all the same features and advantages as our standard Color-Changing LED Strip, but it's twice as bright! These multi-color LED lights for home or business use will bring a million colors and as much excitement to any room in the house. This strip is a better solution than standard RGB strips for lighting needs in large spaces or rooms in need of some extra LED light. Want to transform your living room, rec room or home entertainment center into a place for parties and special events? This full color light strip is perfect. Or do you need to add some drama to a large display case, shop window, restaurant or bar? With the use of one of our RGB LED color controllers, this super bright RGB strip makes for an easy, economical LED light solution. Maybe you have a special presentation or temporary display that needs to be not only eye-catching but portable: this strip light is lightweight, cuttable, and fully customizable.

This strip is sold by the foot, so you can order the right amount for your lighting installation, whether it's large or small. And the strip comes with a 3M adhesive backing, so mounting the strip on a smooth, dry surface is as easy as peeling and sticking. Although twice as bright as standard strips, this high density color ribbon light consumes less than 5 Watts of electricity per foot, so it's energy-efficient in addition to being dynamic.

RGB Strip Lights are low profile and narrow, so they can go almost anywhere, and certainly in places that incandescent and fluorescent lights just don't fit. Unlike single color strips, multi-color LEDs require the Multi-Color LED Strip Splice Connector and a color controller (see above) between them and the power source, whether it's a plug-in 12V adapter or hard-wired driver. The use of an LED color controller unlocks the million color possibilities in each strip. With these color-changing LEDs, being green has never been so colorful!

  1. What is the maximum allowable number of 20 ft strips can you hook together to make one single run? I am looking to cover a 50 ft distance. Hoping to do it with a single run...

We recommend our RGB LED Signal Amplifier to create long runs of RGB strip. To create a 50 foot run of RGB strip, you would use an amplifier every 16 feet to amplify the color signal and the power, so one after 16 feet of strip, and another after 32 feet. Each amplifier is powered by a 12V DC plug-in adapter. Strip sections are connected to the amplifier by our Multi-Color RGB LED Flexible Light EZ Connector. This connector and the signal amplifier are found on the Color-Changing Accessories product page.
  2. What is the tightest bend radius of this strip?

If I understand your question correctly, you should be able to bend this almost 360 degrees, depending on the size of the object you're bending it around. An object the size of a finger or larger will enable you to bend it as much as you like.
  3. I see the total power consumption and current draw per foot for the strip. Is it possible to get a data sheet showing current draw of each LED or maybe even current draw per color? I am working on a thesis project and want to use transistors to control each color but it's difficult without knowing the more detailed specs. (Is it possible to get more detailed specs on the LEDs and strips?)

The High Density RGB strip draws 406mA per foot. As there are 18 LEDs per foot, it would seem that each one draws 23mA of current. Hope this helps your project!
