RGB LED tape by the reel comes with four hard-wired lead wires for connecting to a color controller, and with a 3M adhesive backing, so mounting the strip on a smooth, dry surface is as easy as peeling and sticking. Although twice as bright as standard strips, this high density color ribbon light consumes less than 5 Watts of electricity per foot, so it's energy-efficient in addition to being dynamic.
RGB Strip Lights are low profile and narrow, so they can go almost anywhere, and certainly in places that incandescent and fluorescent lights just don't fit. Unlike single color strips, multi-color LEDs require the Flexible LED Strip Light Splice Connector and a color controller between them and the power source, whether it's a plug-in 12V adapter or hard-wired driver. The use of an LED color controller unlocks the million color possibilities in each strip. With these color-changing LEDs, being green has never been so colorful!

All's good in the hood here.....as stated prior, haven't installed at clients location yet, but shop use seems to be perfect....longevity to be seen. -

These lights are so bright, flexible and easy to use. This is the best product I have ever used in glass block lighting. Elemental LED was Fantastic. Prices were fantastic and I received my products within a week. That is what I call great service.

Can these be connected to a dimmer switch?

Can this strip be controlled with a DMX Lighting system? Say, like Paradigm or Mosaic, or even a theatrical light board?
From Spencer at 8/23/12 11:48 AMYes, this Strip can easily be controlled using a DMX light system using the DMX Decoder with XLR Ports. This unit translates the DMX signal and converts it to a four channel signal to use with the Strip Lights.
