The Foster 60 Watt 12V Dimmable LED Hard-Wired Driver is an extremely consistent and flexible low voltage power driver. Have you been searching everywhere for a way to dim your LED lights without flickering? Look no further. This 12V - 24V DC transformer can be used to power any of our dimmable LED lights, and allows you to install our low voltage LED lighting products while using your existing incandescent dimmer switch. You won't need to rewire your kitchen cabinets or bedroom, just tap into the high voltage AC power near where you intend to install your green LED product.
The Foster Dimmable LED Driver can be dimmed with your standard AC household dimmer, with no external fusing required. This DC driver is designed for high voltage AC incandescent dimmer switches. This driver is not compatible with magnetic low voltage dimmers, and is not compatible with our 12V Inline Dimmer Switch, which is a 12V DC electronic low voltage dimmer, and will not work with switches rated for electronic low voltage power.
This Dimmable LED Driver features:
- Multiple Input Voltages (120V, 240V, and 277V AC)
- Output Configurable for 12V DC or 24V DC up to 60 Watts
Please note that this driver requires a minimum load of 15 Watts, so if you're looking to find a dimmer switch setup for an LED light installation that uses less than 15W of power, we recommend our 12V Inline Dimmer Switch, which is designed to be used with any of our standard non-dimmable drivers and adapters. And this power supply's transformer is fully encapsulated for protection against the elements. The Foster Dimmable Power Driver is ETL listed and is also RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, which ensures that no toxic materials were used in its manufacture.

NOT compatible with standard dimmers
I have used two of these now, and they are not compatible with Lutrons Maestro line of dimmers, which are high end dimmers many would want to use with this high end transformer. Even when using a standard Lutron Diva dimmer, they have a very high frequency pulsating effect. They do work nicely with the Lutron Diva Mag. low voltage dimmer as stated, but the high price and non compatibility with a major market dimmer leaves me feeling this is a two star product. Elemental, I love you guys, but give us another option here! One that works with the Maestro! -

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can connect any of our power supplies to our lighting. Our drivers are set up on a positive and negative wire lead. Our lighting is the same. In the last sentence of the product description for your 3" Aluminum Down Light, it states that the light is not dimmable. The description here for the Dimmable LED Driver Power Supply says that all of your LED lights can be connected to your power supplies. So, is the 3" Down Light compatible with the Dimmable LED Driver or not?
The 12V Dimmable Driver can only dim an LED light that is already dimmable, so it is not compatible with the 3" LED Down Light. We'll change that \"all\" to \"all dimmable fixtures\". Thanks for pointing that out. -
