Our 12" High Power LED Under Cabinet Light is the perfect solution to greening your under cabinet illumination. This compact 24V light bar can be used for any of your task lighting between 1-5 feet, and works especially well in shelving, above counters and inside cabinets. Whether inside your home or lighting products in your business, you'll find that these sleek and attractive LED under cabinet fixtures supply a pleasing but adequate amount of light, all while using even less energy than a fluorescent tube. You get 6 high power SMD LED bulbs that draw up to 7 Watts of electricity.

The 12" High Power bar comes in two colors: warm white, which is the most similar to the warm yellowish light of an incandescent bulb, and neutral white, which is a pure white that is cooler in feel. This under cabinet package includes two mounting clips with screws, and installing the bar couldn't be easier. This under counter light bar can be powered with one of our 24V DC plug-in adapters.

As all Elemental products do, this LED Light fixture holds the prestigious ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certificate, which ensures that no environmentally harmful components were used in manufacturing. And the estimated life of all our LED products is over 50,000 hours, which translates to 40 years of use without replacing a bulb or unit, based on 3-4 hours of use per day. Our LED light fixtures do not emit UV or IR radiation, and they are low heat, which means they are perfect for lighting perishables, wine, artwork, and more.

How bright is this?

The Warm White High Power LED Under Cabinet Light emits 140 lumens and the Neutral White emits 180 lumens. This will provide you with plenty of light in your kitchen.

How do I mount these? Do they come with the clips and screws I need for installing?

Each High Power LED Under Cabinet Light comes with 2 mounting clips and 2 screws. The mounting clips have 2 different positions: one position points directly down and floods your surface with light, the other position shifts the mounting angle to 45 degrees it you are mounting in a corner or wish to flood a backsplash with light.

How do I daisy chain these together if I want to run more than one bar on a single power source?

The actual bar has a cord with a plug on each end, making it really easy to daisy chain a maximum of 8 bars on one circuit.

Why is this fixture so expensive?

The cost of the materials used for this particular product cost more to manufacture than our standard lighting. This product also uses a more powerful bulb than the standard lighting product.

Is this item suitable for damp locations?

Hello and thank you for your inquiry. This lighting fixture is not waterproof, so direct contact with water or any wet surface is not recommended. Elemental LED does sell waterproof lighting in an LED strip design and in a 20-inch LED bar that can be used in damp conditions.

Hi, if I am going to daisy chain three of these and the ends will not be adjacent to each other, is there an extension cable I can use?

Can you mix and match these fixtures with the white waterproof LED bar on the same line (transformer and dimmer?)

That will not be a problem on a 12V system.

Does the light bar come with the power adapter, or do I need to purchase that separately?

The adapter must be purchased separately. Please note that, unlike most Elemental LED fixtures which are 12V, this bar is 24V, so you'll need a 24V DC adapter.

If this is mounted in the 45-degree position using the plastic clips how far does it extend past the mounting surface?

The clips enable you to mount the light bar in a corner so that the light shines at a 45-degree angle from the corner. Or, if you mount the bar on a surface, the clip can be attached so the light shines at 45 degrees or 90 degrees from the surface. The clips extend about 1/8 of an inch out from the bar on each side.

The fixture itself is spec'd at 12". What length does the connector add to it (i.e., what is the minimum space required to mount this and still be able to plug it in)? Also, what is the minimum space required to mount two of these plugged together and still be able to plug those in?

The High Power Under Cabinet Interconnector adds about 1/3 of an inch to the overall length. The 24V Adapter plug adds about 1/2 an inch. So, the overall length of two of these bars connected by the Interconnector and powered by an adapter would be just about 25".
