Use our DC Plug 1 Meter Extension Cable to extend the distance between any two LED products that have our standard 1/4 inch coaxial plug, whether it's an LED strip light and adapter, two strip lights, or our 3-Way Splitter Cable and an under cabinet puck light. And if you need more distance, you can link two cables together. This LED extension cable is ideal for lighting situations where the power source is at a distance from the lighting area, or where two or more lights need to share a power source.

The DC Plug 1 Meter Extension Cable not only broadens the possibilities for your LED lighting, it:

  • makes installation easier
  • avoids the need for any splicing

This cable comes in black and white and features a DC coaxial male plug at one end and a DC coaxial female at the other, allowing for multiple cables to be daisy-chained. When used in conjunction with our DC Plug 3-Way and 5-Way Splitters, the possibilities for those hard-to-light scenarios are endless.

  1. Effective

But should be available in white like the other components I purchased.

  1. How many of these extension cables can chained together? What would you recommend if you
need 16-20 feet of cable between the power source and the strip lights?

In theory, you can chain together as many of these as you need, and only need to pay attention to voltage drop, which becomes a factor when the lights are more than 30 feet or so from the power source.

But an easier way to get the extension would be to use our 18/2 Lamp Wire, sold by the foot. You can order the amount you need and attach an LED Adapter Splice Cable (which is 42 inches long) on the power end (if you're using a plug-in Adapter, otherwise, the bare wires connect directly to a Hard-Wired Driver), and either solder the wires at the other end to the strip or connect them using the Flexible LED Strip Light Splice Connector.
