Our Brighter Flexible LED Strip Light is available by the foot, and is perfect for lighting installations that need a low profile strip that is super bright. Our flat LED strip light emits light in all directions with a 120° light beam angle. This Bright LED Light Strip is designed to cast no shadows and boasts a desirable seamless glow. The Brighter Flexible LED Light is a very bright strip, using tri-chip high output LED chips that enable a greater light output of up to 180 lumens. There is an LED every 1.2 inches and each foot comes with 9 high output LEDs and uses only 2.16 watts of electricity per foot.
This high-intensity LED lighting is ideal for

close application task lighting
Despite its brightness, the low energy consumption of this ribbon light not only means you save money, it can also translate to an elimination of electrical shock and fire danger. This solid state light strip lasts for over 50,000 hours which is 8 years if left constantly on. This strip will cost $1.80 per foot if left on all year. And like all of Elemental's products, our Bright LED Light Strip holds the prestigious ROHS certificate, which guarantees that no environmentally harmful components were used in manufacturing.
The LED tape strip lighting is great. The product is easy to install and the marked cut lines are great for an exact fit. Splicing was easy with the preinstalled solder tabs. We have given out the web site information to many of our neighbors. The Elemental Tech support team is also great in assisting you with the correct Lighting and components for your needs. I will recommend this company to any looking for lighting needs. A final note, the LED light strips do not get very warm-unlike most other under cabinet lighting that heats up the inside of your cabinets.
Stark white, but looks great

Goes together easy, no instructions included but the online tutorials get you through. I replaced an old "rope light" that was in the cabinet with these lights, a little false start until I noticed the "factory cut end" had been cut short of the terminals so it wasn't making contact but I just moved that section to the end of my string and it works like a charm. Going to order another set for new cabinets being built now!

I installed your "Brighter" flexible LED strip in a restaurant's liquor display case that needed to be illuminated. The product was very effective. I used a dimmer and chose the warm-white color temperature. The owners, patrons and staff have been impressed with the improvement in the appearance of the case. Thank you all for your assistance and your dedication to satisfying me as a new customer. I would recommend you and your products to my customers in the future. I am most eager to learn about your new ideas and how your industry is developing.

After gasping at the $1,500 a local lighting shop was going to charge for LED's I was tickled to find "elemental". $250 and change got me all set up with lights that are WAY brighter than anything I could have gotten locally. I took me about 15 minutes to install the whole room. Check it out at: http://selbydale.com/?p=655 .
Under Cabinet Lighting

I purchased the brighter flexible strip in neutral light with a power supply, and it worked out great for our under cabinet lighting in the kitchen we remodeled. Our counter tops are mostly white, and we usually only turn on the under cabinet lighting when we go in the kitchen at night. The under cabinet lighting bouncing off the counter top and the light-colored wall indirectly light the kitchen while providing plenty of task lighting.

How wide is the actual strip?
From Guest at 6/3/10 6:09 AM
10.1 mm wide by 2.2 mm high
I purchased some of your Brighter Flexible LED light strip, EL-IMGBRTRIB12V, and I wanted to know if you have any tips on soldering my electrical leads to the flexible strip? Type of flux, solder, conducting epoxy, etc.?? There appear to be two pads on the positive and two on the negative side of the strip. Does it matter which set I use?
From Guest at 6/3/10 7:06 AM
We recommend using 22swg solder. Your negative leads will attach to the labels R, G, and B , and your positive leads will connect to the common positive solder pad. Try touching the wires to the pads before you solder to assure that you have the correct configuration and continuity. If you happen to reverse the configuration your light strip will simply not light up, however, it will not be damaged in any way.
We are interested in purchasing the Flexi LED lights to place underneath the kitchen cabinet. The electrical line has been run. Can the electrician use a regular dimmer switch or must we purchase your dimmer for the LED lights?
I want to install your brighter flex LED lighting (EL-IMGBRTRIB12V) under my kitchen cabinets to light granite countertops. Should I order the warm light or neutral and what is the difference?
From Guest at 6/4/10 7:25 AM
Warm White has a yellower hue and Neutral White a cooler, bluer hue. There is a picture of each color in the product photos above. In general, choose the white that is closer to the color of your counter if you want to enhance it. So a granite counter that's more grey or blue would be enhanced with Neutral White, or warmed up with Warm White.
Is this product available at spool pricing?
From Guest at 6/4/10 7:25 AM
Yes, all of our flexible strips are available at a discounted price by the spool. On the products tab above, just click on \Spools: Flexible LED Lights\".
Is the Brighter Flexible LED Strip Light spool dimmable by use of the \"EL-SC12DIM\" or by using a regular household dimmer switch?
From Guest at 6/4/10 7:50 AM
The Brighter LED Strip is dimmable both ways. Using our 12V Inline Dimmer Switch, you connect the switch between the 12V DC power source and the strip. With a 120V AC household dimmer switch, when used with our 60-Watt Dimmable Driver, you would connect the driver between your household dimmer and the strip light. For a full explanation with diagrams, go to our LEDucation page in the top menu and click on the \Are LED Lights Dimmable?\" page.
I'm looking for an even LED light that I can place behind a plexiglass wall-mounted sculpture. the hope is that I can mount the strip behind the plexiglass, and the light will shine through evenly. Can you tell me if this is the best product for this purpose and what other accessories I will need?
From Guest at 6/4/10 7:58 AM
This strip will light evenly, especially if the plexiglass is frosted. To power it, you can use one of our plug-in DC adapters, which you connect to the strip light using a Flexible LED Strip Light DC Plug Connector.
I'm looking for LED under cab lighting. I have 2 39" runs of cabs and a 36" run. These are seperated by oven and freezer and fridge. I also have a 54" run of cabs on the other side of the kitchen. This is new construction and has been wired for UCL with dimmer switch. I assume I would have to purchase 4 dimmable drivers to run each run of lights since they can not be connected together?
From Guest at 1/29/11 9:49 AM
You actually can have all of these strip sections on the same power source, as long as a continuous run of strip does not exceed 16.4 feet. In other words, each 16.4 feet of strip needs to be wired back to the power source, but multiple runs can ve wired to the same driver. We sell 18/2 Lamp Wire to span gaps between strip sections. Just make sure that the power source of the strips is 12V DC and that the dimmer is the right one for the job. Not all dimmers will work with 12V driver/transformers. You can consult our Tutorials > Frequently Asked Questions > Are LED Lights Dimmable? page for detailed information about this. Thanks for the question!
what comes in the box of brighter flexible led light?
do i need to buy any accessories with the light?
From Guest at 3/8/11 9:45 AM
This strip is sold by the foot, so you'll receive only the number of feet you ordered in one section. You can take a look at the wiring diagrams on the page to see what you'll need. The accessories you need will be different depending on how you want to power the strip.
