Is this item (any of the items) suitable for damp locations??
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The lighting fixture mentioned is not waterproof. So Direct contact with water or any wet surface is not recommended. Elemental LED does sell waterproof lighting in a LED strip design and in a 20 inch LED bar that can be used in damp conditions.

Why is this fixture so expensive?
The cost of the materials used for this particular product cost more to manufacture than our standard lighting. This product also uses a more powerful bulb than the standard lighting product.

How do I daisy chain these together if I want to run more than one bar on a single power source?
The actual bar has a cord with a plug on each end, making it really easy to daisy chain a maximum of 8 bars in one circuit.
